TARTAN ARMY DOWN UNDER
The website was created on the 18th of December 2006 by Jordan MacLeod in an attempt to bring as many of the followers of the Scottish National Football Team in Australia together but also welcoming all supporters of the World Game here down under.
The Scottish football fans are known as the World's Friendliest Fans, as awarded in France during the 1998 World Cup, and have won numerous awards over the years from both FIFA and UEFA for their combination of rabid support and friendly nature.
Being part of the Tartan Army Down Under is not only about the website, we are hoping to create an exclusive club that are dedicated to the following:
- Annual Football Tournament – Tartan Army Downunder Shield Involving Every State
- Create The Tartan Army Down Under FC
- Organised Events Held In Each State On The Same Day
- 6 Monthly National Meetings
- Tadu tour squad for qualifying matches
- Tadu Tour Squad To Wc 2010 (when we get there)
- Annual Charity Football Matches In Each State
- Help Build Fellow Scots Business’ Through The Website
- Help Supporters Clubs Build Members Base
- 2 Major Sponsors For Each State
- 20 Minor Sponsors For Website
- Email List Of Over 5000 Scots Across Australia
